ABOUT BROOKE

BACKGROUND

I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from Loyola Marymount University in 2009. During a small break from my studies, I discovered the powerful connection between diet, movement and mental health. I decided to seek out a program that included both focuses so that I would be able to better treat the whole person. In 2015 I graduated with my Masters degrees in Nutrition and Clinical Health Psychology from Bastyr University. In 2019 I became a Be Body Positive Facilitator. I am currently licensed as an LMHC.

PHILOSOPHY

I help my clients find the connection between how they choose to feed themselves and how they feel physically, mentally and emotionally. I do not believe that our diets should be stagnant-our bodies needs are flexible and vary based on personal factors such as age, gender,  genetics and mental health, as well as other factors such as seasons, perceived stress levels and relationships. I work with my clients to help them identify what THEIR currents needs are, how they can identify them and honor them, and how to adapt to our ever changing lives.
