What Kind of Therapy Session is Better For You?

A common question I get is, "what kind of session would be best for me?"

Here are the benefits of weekly sessions:

  • They help build more a relationship between you and the therapist

  • It gives you consistent check ins which can be helpful to keep you on track

  • The weekly therapy sessions can also be a safe space for you to get away from your busy life and have an hour to yourself

  • You get to build slowly and see change in a more linear fashion- while also creating space to fall back into old patterns - so that when this does happen, you have someone to talk to about it

Here are the benefits of an intensive:

  • It's a full day or two that you get to take to yourself to really go deep and not waste a large portion of our time doing small talk

  • They give us more time to play around with other activities like art, somatic work, meditation, movement, a walk outside, aromatherapy, and more!

  • Since it's a premium experience, you get all the special touches like a personalized workbook to complete before the intensive and some goodies that come with to help you feel a little bit extra excited and important! (There may also be some surprise goodies when you arrive as well :) )

  • You can get 6 months worth of therapy done in 1-2 days. What a time saver!

I'd love to chat more about which option is best for you for your therapy sessions. Also, some people like to combine and have regular therapy and schedule an intensive 1-2 times a year! That can feel like a nice blend as well.
